Default Ubisoft File related to TDC (working dials) TheDarkWraith

Can anyone help please??? I have SHV installed and working ok. I have vaarious mods installed and in use using the JSGME. I desperately want to use the TDC (working dials) mod by TheDarkWraith. Whilst very amateur at installing mods, all I have installed work great but I believe this particular mod requires alteration to the Ubisoft/silenthunter5 file which I have yet to find. The only related SHV files I can find are in My Documents under a file called SH5....thats it. On my start menu, under programme files there is a Ubisoft file but there is only SHIII in it from a previous install.........Can anyone help or give me an idea in laymans terms how to install this particular mod???

Really sorry by the way that I started a new thread from a related topic but though I would be more likely to get a reply this way

Using Vista by the way

Ok, The folder is located on your normal hard drive usually C:

So by default the game installs to C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5

Now as your JSGME all you need to do is extract the NewUIs_TDC_1_0_0_ByTheDarkWraith folder from TheDarkWraiths Mod and Place into the MODS folder at C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\Mods
Now go back into TheDarkwraits UI mod and extract the data folder from the choice of 3 dial types you want and copy this to C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\Mods\data.

This should get you up and running.

Dont worry you wil be a pro in a short time..........

One thing that this forum thought me alot about was pathing mods into games.

Extract the ZIP file else where first............Like a SH5 DL Folder, So u can have copies and back ups of all your SH5 DL's. When extracted check in the folder for another folder called "For Mods Folder". It might be there it might not. It was on another TDC mod he uploaded. Darkwraith usually gives u choices with his Dl's so its not just JSGME easy. Now Create new folder in the C:Ubisoft/mods/ folder Called TDC Dials or something like that, Then look through ur DL Extracted folder and copy and paste a folder with the file name closet related to MOD in the newly created folder in your mods folder. Then install form JSGME. Reading over this it looks crazy, but its all about the pathing of the MOD. I hope this isnt confusing. I think it is reading over it. Hope this helps.

Ego,

(This is your start MOD folder)
C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\MODS

You need to extract the Mod so as you end up with the following file structure.

C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\MODS\NewUIs_TDC_1_0_0_ByTheDarkWraith

C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\MODS\NewUIs_TDC_1_0_0_ByTheDarkWraith\data
C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\MODS\NewUIs_TDC_1_0_0_ByTheDarkWraith\Documentat ion

C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\MODS\NewUIs_TDC_1_0_0_ByTheDarkWraith\data\Menu
C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\MODS\NewUIs_TDC_1_0_0_ByTheDarkWraith\data\Scrip ts
C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\MODS\NewUIs_TDC_1_0_0_ByTheDarkWraith\data\Sea

C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\MODS\NewUIs_TDC_1_0_0_ByTheDarkWraith\data\Menu\ cfg
C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\MODS\NewUIs_TDC_1_0_0_ByTheDarkWraith\data\Menu\ Gui

C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\MODS\NewUIs_TDC_1_0_0_ByTheDarkWraith\data\Menu\ Pages
C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\MODS\NewUIs_TDC_1_0_0_ByTheDarkWraith\data\Menu\ Gui\TDC
C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\MODS\NewUIs_TDC_1_0_0_ByTheDarkWraith\data\Menu\ Gui\Layout
