This is a great idea, for me external frames themselves are great, but mouse response seems a bit squirelly, and I think it has to do with the default sensitivity.

I have a Logitech G9 which I can change the DPI on the fly, by setting it to 400 DPI the awkward mouse movement and jumpiness has stopped. Of course the the only drawback is that I have to drag the mouse a little farther across the pad when moving around but I can live with that.
