My first mod for Silent Hunter 5 : Low Computer Mod for Silent Hunter 5

- Kill some filters
- No more bump for flood
- Free camera (from the Free Camera Tweak 1.0 by CCIP)
- Low shadows
- Disable Ubisoft logo video
- Disable all HDR/Bloom effects


Version : 0.01 | Download : Version 0.01 3/21/2010
- Disable sun HDR/Bloom effects for exterior view

...Edit: Yes, there does appear to be an improvement in FPS. Well done Sir!

Thanks but I'm sure that we can obtain a better framerate with some modifications.

Can you say how many FPS you have win with the 0.02 patch ? (in interior and exteriors views)

STOP THE PRESS....We just got confirmation from one of The Devs, that there will be a signifcant improvement to Framerates in the soon to be released Patch. Especially in the Control Room and Sub Penn apparently Maybe they're doing exactly what you're doing?

Your vagueness and lack of information regarding this statement is not appreciated. Where did the devs state this? Or is this just another rumor?
