[REQ] Importing U-boats into SH5??

Im wondering if it may be possible to create a MOD importing U-Boats (from U-boat missions/SH4) into
SH5?
using the interrior of the type 7.......from SH5,
and the model/data files from SH4 of the type 9.

If this was the case there would need to be some way of validating that the user also owned silent hunter 4. I've seen mods in other games do this but i dont know how possible it is. Problem is none of those models in U boat missions are from pre-1943. They may be but if so it was just barely and the war would end for you in something like 3 or 6 months.

i have the XXI in sh4 in 1939
but i think it's difficult to do that
like to see bismarck or the scharnhorst into sh5

Operation Monsun has all the boats. They were imported from SH3, but I don't think there's too much difference.

The real problem is the full interiors, and the crew animations, and the fact that the SH5 boats are much more detailed, and probably a lot more.

I am more thinking of the great tomi`s mods. You can find them in the
siv ato mods section.

Will it be possible to use his great work?

wanted to update this thread with a question..

Is it possible to utilize goblin (or another program) to import a type XXI (skins or full model) into SH5? possibly importing them from sh3/4?
