1st post. Hi.
Glad to be here. Greatly interested in some of these mods. Footsteps (SH5) particularly. Since the patch I sound like i'm wearing four pairs of glass slippers. Only played Silent Hunter. Started on 3 and was hooked. They always launch a bit broke but for me it's worth it in the end. I completely romanticise U-boat warfare and submarines in general. I love a good depth charging.Adore Das Boot and am currently building a 1:144 scale Type VIIC (early version). I live in the NW of Engalnd and recently visited the new exhibition of U534 at Woodside Ferry Terminal in Birkenhead. Well worth of fiver of any sub enthusiasts money. Unless you live in Chicago where they have a fully preserved Type IXC and not one cut into three with a honeycomb core of rust, but beggars can't be chosers. Again glad to be here and looking forward. |

Welcome aboard floodedengine
![]() I was in Manchester for a few days about a fortnight ago but sadly, never got the chance to visit her. I was drinking with a scouser one evening and when he learnt of my interest in WWII did recommend a visit though. |
