Default Am I just out of my mind?

I am really surprised at the near complete lack of notice about how the Engine sounds on the version of the sim work.

THEY ARE WRONG!!!

I searched Ubi's site and no one has mentioned this.

I have made several posts here about it, but I guess the title was just not eye catching enough.

The problem is this. When you increase your speed setting, only the volume of the engines increases, NOT THE RATE OR FREQUENCY!!! All engine related things, engine, propeller, electric motor, only increase or decrease in volume when speed changes are made.

This is very annoying, cause when you are cruising at 2/3 you barely hear the engine. When you are going at flank, you have to crank the sound DOWN, due to the increase in VOLUME, opposed to frequency.

Sh3, modeled this pitch change well. I think SH4 had the very problem Sh5 seems to have. But it got patched out, after many complained. NO one seems to be complaining this time.

I tried to see if Silent 3ditor could shed some light, but the files for Sh3, and sh5 have identical entries on pitch variation....0.

Are the parameters perhaps elsewhere?

The AI vessles have a change in pitch or frequency when they increase or decrease speed. So why are we stuck with the same frequency but just louder and quieter at different speeds?
