I've been tweaking the speed of torpedoes, and I've come to realize that the range part of the .sim file is fisher price, it doesn't matter what I put in there, there is still some kind of formula that limits range based on speed. if anyone has been able to overcome this, any help would be greatly appreciated, the problem is there on the subs, too, no matter what i put in the range. unless unlimited batteries and fuel is used. Lol ran out of diesel and hadn't even made it around the bend from kiel.

anyone else had problems with changing speed/range? there must be some kind of other thing acting on the files that im not aware of. and its not the premature detonation either......sigh
fixed it, was problem with mag detonation range being too large, (damm stuttering zeros) Last edited by lorka42; 03-14-10 at 05:39 PM. |
