Date calender

Hi Guys:

I see people talking about dates like 1939 winter is there a calender screen or something in the game to see your progress, have seen screenshots here also where can I see this in the game, thank you.

You can see the current date in the captain's log and in the top right corner of the map screen above the mission objectives.
