Weather report.

I have found the line in the cfg file, 261 for the weather report.
Not being a modder, i was looking for some one to give me a key bind so i can use this.
If possible, i would like to use the ] key, either with shift or without.
Any help would be appreciated from a non modder, thanks.

Church's key commands mod (highly recommended) already includes this on shift+w

edit: Oh, sorry, think I misinterpreted the question. Not sure how to mod in particular keys.

WOW, fast reply, thanks.
Being a FPS, i was hoping to keep the keyboard layout as it is, you know what its like when you get used to something, it just feels right, i also know you sub simmers like your type of layout, if i can have the best of both worlds then great, but if not, then i will have to bite the bullet, or torpedo, and use the keyboard fix.

Stoneys,
Its very easy for you to do...
go to data > cfg > commands.cfg

open it up with note pad.

look for this entry

[Cmd261]
Name=Report_weather
Contexts=1
MnID=0x3F250006

and make it look like this
[Cmd261]
Name=Report_weather
Contexts=1
MnID=0x3F250006
Key0=0x57,s,"Shift+W"

this will now get you weather by hitting shift+w

in the future you can use this utility to discover key mappings for any key and key combo, then input that map into the config file and your good to go...

Use this little tool developed by Timetraveler for SH3.
