Default Fall of Rising sun + heading indicator

I have installed Fall of the Rising Sun and the heading indicator seems to be stuck in twice the normal size which is very fugly

How can I fix that ?

And is there anyway to remove that stupid zooming of dials in SH 4 ? I hate it.

By using Paint.Net I have been able to find where the graphics are located for the dials in both Metric and Imperial Units (C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific\MODS\FalloftherisingSun\Data\Menu\Skins\Am erican\Gui\Layout) but they look to have the standard size.

Where is the zooming info encoded/stored ? Been searching for two hours, can't find it.

I think it's somewhere in the 1024_768.ini file but I am not sure.
I have used Ultra edit compare file tool to compare the original SH4 file to the FOTRS one, but there are series of numbers like :

Pos=40,-4,11,81
Zone= 799 116 11 81 0 1 0x3F1D0000 0.5 -0.5 0x3F1D0003 -0.5 0.5 0 0

With no clue, no idea about what they do.

Tried to copy/paste the lines from stock SH4 to FOTRS to lines where it links to the file with the Compass pictures but has on effect.

Those zooming and overgrown dials are so lame I can't even stand to play the game with them...
