Press enter or h to see Fuel, Battery, CO2 and Compressed Air. Depth under keel and Return to course keys have to be modded in. The Advanced Shift Key mod adds those keys to the new key set, there is also one that makes the keys like the older games.

The biggest problem with SH5 IMHO is that, as a real sub captain you would bark orders to your crew... and I believe that this was where the development team was going but the unfinished RPG (if you could call it that) dialouge options currently prohibit this. A real sub captain is not expected to be everywhere at once during a crisis and relys on constant verbal communication between his crewmen at the appropriate stations for critical informational awareness. Something that's impossible in the current state of SH5. For example: If I want to order my crew to turn 17 degress right rudder, or turn to compass heading 295, while I'm on the peri identifying a target you can't do that currently.
So now we are required to go back to the old useful hotkeys of the old interface which are missing... It all leaves many of us in an inbetween, unfortunate situation, that I believe has frustrated many loyal followers of the series. |
