Could Someone Answer These ..

War kicked off , I go to officer in pen and take Coastal , patrol area marked and sink over 50,000tn. 1 patrol 1 Refit I had done both. Back to Home base, once Docked (end patrol) I am once again in the pen and ask the officer for a mission, its the same intro but this time I take on the mission SW of England 100,000tn.

But in the pen I tried pressing Esc to get to the menu to take off those bars on ships, I could not do it from there , so as I said I picked my 2nd misson and when on board I could press Esc to get to the menu but it would not let me into the Game Setting Tab ?

I sank 51,000+tn in that mission , I already had an Iron Cross 2nd Class don't know if that was for the 5 ships in the training mission ? anyhoo I got a total of 70,000+ so it must have counted. I got an Iron Cross 1st Class of the 51,000tn.

I was in the management screen and hit the IC icon next to my section and it opened up to a medal box.

But don't you get medals to dish out to the crew anymore ???

As the deck gun crew were auto picked , I take it from the management screen I control the officers and they control the men and I don't have an input into who goes where and moving these men about different stations like in SH3 and SH4-Uboat addon where as reward points you could give the crew mixed skills

sorry for the off topic PS ... but is everyones night sky different rings - shades of blue-black-grey.

I don't know about anyone else and in the end it doesn't really matter, but the clouds in the game am I the only one that thinks they look weird. Like something you would see in a kids book , like a water colour painting. For me they don't look right and don't fit with the great graphics of the boat and sea.
