Have I installed it correctly?

I used a custom install so that I could put it on my D drive but it seems to have installed it in its own standalone ubisoft folder instead of in
Program Files(x86)\Ubisoft\
Is this okay?

Yup, it's ok. It looks as if it default installs to the root C folder, ie C\ubisoft and not to program files folder. IIRC I've seen some mention here that trying to install other than to the default folder might be problematic for the online aspects, but I stand to be corrected on that.

It's not just OK, it's preferable! Never install moddable games into your Program Files folder especially if running Vista or Win7...it's just not worth the angst.
