Default Ladies and gents, it's right time...

...to ask GWX5 - Yes or No?

What we do know:
1) Torrent casuall-players inastall SH5 ...and uninstall it after few hours of play - for being too arcade, marine shooter with dumb crew and too empty 3d interior...

2) Devs need few more months to fix the bugs - but with some cash-flow witin Ubi (blocked by DRM skunk)

3) "Modders army" seems thinner and thinner - reluctant to gather arround DRM skunk...

4) Wery few "old moders" cruising arround - Kpt.Lehman, Danilsa, Jimbuna, Reece, JScones,... running deep.

5) etc...etc...

- - -

So... shall we expect:

A ) - a bunch of German, Dutch and UK kidds "changing the outcome of WW2" to content of prowd aunties and mumms - that bought a game...

B ) - or a Wolfpack gathering brains: arround next Atlantic "legend and classic" - despite DRM skunk

There is no middle road I'm affraid... so what is your bet ?

???

Nope. Like I said in the other thread, too many have left the community from the original GWX team for them to get out anything even remotely as cool as GWX3.

I know it msut be hard as hell to find a team like that in the first place, we are all lucky , wait not lucky, BLESSED, you guys got together in the first place. Thanks!

Any hope of maybe a new team? I'm just asking. I can't help at all, but as of now I'd pay for a mod that made longer shots easier.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you will most likely not see the avid 'major' modding for this title as you have the previous titles.

I hope I'm wrong but I just have this feeling.

You are wrong.

Take the blinders off gents. Look at the SH4 forums. Look at OM. Lucky for us a lot have good knowlege of the workings of SH4. This helps in SH5.

No way is anyone going to consider a "supermod" until the last patch is done for the game.

And while certain former GWX teammembers may undertake some modding of their own, I sincerely doubt you'll see a resurrection of the GWX brand name.

Consider a super mod before a patch? Certainly. It takes time as we know. But it will come

It's way to early to start thinking of a GWX-style megamod.

The game just hit the streets. There's still patches to be released, and a long learning process to go through. Give it a year, once the kinks have been worked out, and the small mods will start to get collected together.

Out of this, someone will start to raise a megamod.

Never to early to start thinking about it! Start creating it? Small mods first and those are already flowing in.

Not to worry Adriatico. SH5 is in its infancy, you have to learn to walk before you can run. There is a huge knowledge base out there from modding SH4 that is transfering over to SH5. In 12 to 24 months this thing will be awesome.

Its already a fun sim right now. I had a blast with it last night. Now if I only knew how run the radio and gramaphone? Is it even implemented?

HELP!

While my admiration for the GWX team will never fade, we have some very talented modders here and now.

I think we already have had a taste of some and it,s all GOOD !!! ... ...

Every SH-Version brought a whole bunch of new talanted modders to this community. It will be the same again, but like SH3 and Sh4, it will take time.

Ok, thinking about it, I'll give you. People have been thinking about it since SH5 was announced.

But the sort of planning that went into GWX, I say it's too early. How many of the small mods out now will still be around when the final patch is released? Some of the most talented modders may not even be around then.

But yes, the groundwork for megamods is being laid down now.

Sign up, modders! Do your part! Become famous! Just remember, it's still a long road, and the journey has just started.
