This is great. Finally on a patrol and starting to enjoy this. I used the key to go look at other ships. Now when I click to get back on board the sub goes on by and I just watch. I can't get back on board no how, no way. Has this happened to anyone else. Is there a way to get back on without saving and reloading the patrol?

Try SHIFT U
Sounds dirty, I know, but it should place you back on the bridge.

Hi Neal,
I tried that and they just pass underneath me. I click on the little round thing in the top right and it just clicks and nada! I really think they booted me! I do like using the camera to snoop around the sub. This is repeatable every time I do it. It's like a bug to a flame. I keep doing it trying to find the magic key to get back. Thanks |

This may seem like an idiotic statement, but you have tried clicking the little button in the upper right hand corner of your screen, right? That SHOULD bring you back out of the free cam.

Yep. It changes scenes in the little round jobbie and boat keeps on going. Without me!
Thanks |

Thank god, I thought I was the only one.
Sometimes I switch to the external camera, and then it won't let me switch back in to the U Boat. Save where you are, then reload, seems to clear the problem. Happens to me about 1 in 5 at the moment. |

Have you tried clicking on the "little round thing" twice?
Or pressing the F2 key?

And are you using "No external camera" realism option by any chance?

I have clicked the little round thing a lot. I am not using the "no external camera" option. This does this for me every time. I noticed some neat enemy subs last night and just couldn't help using the camera to fly over to them. Couldn't get back aboard. It certainly has something to do with the external cam. |
