This game supposed to be a commanders view of the Uboat war. But who is conducting the surfaced attack? Normal practice was that the 1WO conducted them.

I doubt it will be any different from SHIII. From a gaming PoV it wouldn't make much sense IMO to have that task delegated to the 1WO.

my idea also, would be interesting though. Only problem I see is that the 1WO needs to hit like 90% of the ships targeted. I have no idea how many torps fired where a miss or dud.
