I am not racing (or playing in general) that much anymore, but occasionally I do go back to GTR2, Nascar2003 or - Richard Burns Rally.
However, I have not cared much for modding of RBR in recent years. for a long time, modding it was considered to be pain. There were some new cars and interfaces, and both things did not interest me enough as if I would have spend time with fiddling around with them. What I did not know is that they have found out how to do new tracks, too, after several years. I discovered RSRBR 2010 in the past days, and must say that it gives my Rally racing a new boost that I would not have expected again. Some of the tracks are beautifully done, especially Pribram I do love. I needed some time to find out about the BTR tracks and the different treatement they need. there are also some tweaks included, allowing contemporary high resolutions, for example. not only is RBR still one of the very best racing experiences available on PC with some of the best physics you can see, but I would recommend any RBR fan not knowing it already to try out the RSRBR mod and the BTR tracks, it adds so many new great tracks and really blows new life into this old sim. The download is hefty (mod 700+, update, 400+ car pack, plus individual BTR tracks and packages ranging from 25-100+ MB). but it is worth it. RBR simply is the best rally thing out there, and it still is one of the very best racing sims in general. Enjoy!
