Manual targeting tools
I've been doing manual targeting lately, so I've been reading through the archives about various tools used. I've also come across mentions of them in books. It seems there were several tools and sometimes several names for tools. I'm a little confused sorting through all the different types. Can someone explain what the various tools are used for? Things such as the whiz-wheel, is-was, Submarine Attack Course Finder, Banjo, etc.
I'd like to learn more about what these tools are and how they are used with the TDC and instead of the TDC. |

My question, however, involves the physical tools used, not techniques. There was one mention of an "AOB-wheel", and one of the "Attack Course Finder" manual. Other than that, no mention of the various tools I've seen mentioned. |
