Looks to me like they shut them down themselves once a month to do maintenance. Do you get a warning ? or not . It also looks like they forget to turn them back on after their done, somtimes after months and hundreds of people asking "what the hell".

Sweet, I may have to wait in line to play my new game, YES!!!!
Might as well go to the arcade with my credit card.

For me, even if they never had to do server downtime I would NOT buy a game that uses this sort of DRM.

The point is: I do not want to be online to play an offline game...EVER!

Dont they get that?

I get that crap at work with our servers. Why would I want the same thing on a personal game at home?

Sorry, I think I was channeling that trenken guy for a minute.

I'm amazed.

Surely though, once they get all their new games and all players across to the new system their servers will be much more solid and robust.

Hmmm... not looking good.

Now I would like to know what is the frequencies such things occur.

2 hours per week: Totally unacceptable

2 hours per month: still unacceptable, but maybe not enough for me to boycott the game.

2 hours per year: tolerable

This is only my point of view, I'm fully aware that a lot of people here won't agree with me.
