Default Request.. for a fleetboat noob.

I'm planning on making a separate install of SH4 for TMO.

What is the install order and what other mods should I try?

I've tried finding out from the forums but I can't make head or tales of it.

My apologies and thanks in advance.

For TMO

TriggerMaru_Overhaul_19
TMO19_Patch_081209

Add RSRD should you desire.

RSRDC_TMO_V502
RSRDC_V5xx_Patch1

Some other mods I would run that you might enjoy

TMO19_interior3d_GATO_overhaul
EAX_sound_sim_without_Websters_Maneuver_SonarFix

If you stick with what Armistead cited, you should be ok. Just don't go overboard with adding mods on top of mods - bad things can happen.

I've tried the whole gamut and variations thereof. I have settled in on Armisteads recommendation with RSRD, and probabally will stay with it........

No, please don't. There are modders out there that are much better then I am in one way or another. I'm just an "old fart" of a modder having been around awhile, and i have a big mouth by being more outspoken. Having a big mouth isn't something i do intentionally, i just call things as i see them, and post what i think, no more, no less - same as everybody else. Honestly, i get more "press" and attention then i'd like. The only thing i'll admit to, is having put a lot of effort into improving SH4, but then, so have a lot of other modders.

BTW,

<---- that little "best of subsim 2009" star i got over there well, i don't know how i got that. I was banned from subsim for most of 2009 i think. So how was I the best of 2009 when i was hardly even here? No guy's, if your looking for someone to give hail to, I ain't it.

Well I would have made a list but I did not want it to become a Thank You like at the Oscars, (I was going to put the Overlord of the evil escorts and flying thingies but we all know that already keeps us on out toes)

So to all the modders and fixers of stuff Thanks

Ducimas, Lurker, Vickers....all great modders...plus many others. The great thing about Ducimas is his periods of "I've had enough" are much shorter than most....he just can't stand not to mod.

I know, and appreciate their great work. (how to put this nicely) I started playing SS2 back in the day... only on the very basic level. I found other games I enjoyed... Then came back to SH3 which blew me away especially when I loaded GWX. It was 1 simple package. I must admit I miss that a bit with SH4.

Been awhile since you checked the SH3 section? GWX is now the "base" mod on which you can add OLC and at least a half-dozen other mods. Not much different, anymore, than SH4.
