Default Its the little things I realy like about this game

I am right in the middle of an attack, one of the rare surface attacks I find my self making and I noticed something I had never known about the game befor. My first attack run on this lone ship failed utterly, two of four eels missed and the other two were direct hits but failed to detonate. So I moved at flank to make position for a second go at 'em and was sucseful on my first shot. I hit them at about 500 m while standing on the bridge to observe my handy work. The eel bit them right where I wanted it to and then I heard something that made me pause for a moment and turn up the sound and turn down the radio I was listening to. It sounded like shouting, though I couldn't hear real well over my crew's chears and the ambiance music. After that subsided I began to listen some more and it was shouting, coming from the other ship! Whats more it was shouting in English and actual words. They said things like, "I think we hit something!" and "Did we hit something! What is hapening!"

This realy brought the game to life for me, I mean realy. Up to this point I kind of felt that the only "people" in the game were on my boat. But once that siloet on the harizon lit up by the fire and explosion from my attack and the voices shouting from the other ship's decks it realy came to life. I was astounded how such a little thing like this changed the game for me.

What other little things like that have you noticed in the game that make it feel more real?

Do you use any sound mods that add this kind of ''voices''? Its the first time i read this.

I do have one sound mod but I don't know if it adds any thing to the other ships. The mod is Thompson's sound mod version 3.2 I think. I didn't read anything in the mod info about voices coming from the crew of attacked ships though.

I'm not familiar to this mod so i can't tell. It sounds strange to me but i'm not an ''all-(super)mods'' expert and since you say so, well... thats cool!

Yep. I run Thompson's sound mod (which is outstanding by the way), and I hear this too.

Cheers "We hit something!"

Still makes me smile

I applied Melendirs No Ring Ring mod after Thompsens sound pack to get rid of it.

I usually start noticing the people on the other ships right about the time they start shooting at me. Always an eye-opener.

Childhood was GREAT! But don't think it is those vioces your talking about, they are usualy too occupied whispering, "Shoot, kill them all!" when I have the target lined up.
