I've got a quick question about the Abig EQ monitoring program. I've been using it for the last five years, but always wondered where the program got the temperature for the SYS entry. Does it take the temperature from the northbridge, southbridge, memory, or is it a general case temperature? I've tried doing searches, but haven't come across anything useful.
Additionally, is the PWM temperature for power management (like the PSU)? I've always assumed PWM was for the PSU. Last edited by Syxx_Killer; 01-05-10 at 07:01 PM. |

Think it's the temp of the part on the board that supplies power to the CPU (MOSFETs?).
![]() Increase the CPU voltage by 2v and see if the temp goes up. ![]()
