Time Compression

How do I control Time Compression in SH3, I only know how to do it in SH2, please help.

On your normal screen, bottom right, to the right of your speed and depth guages is a small + or - sign. Press + to increase time compression, - to lower time compression. Other than bridge or free view, you can time compress up to 1024x.

Bridge or free view for me I can only get it up to 32x.

Just don't try to time compress Kiev Canal, that's a good way to run into something, as I found out.

The pluss and minous butons on your number pad should also do the trick.

ditto to what they said, but in some areas they wont let you go past 1x because you're too close to land, like when leaving some harbors

Other situations limits your time compression as well, such as other ships in the area(being the hunter or hunted).
You can adjust these settings using SH3Commander if you have it or in a cfg file if you dont.

If you don't have SH3Commander, I highly recommend that you get it.
