Default The weirdest thing just happened to me, or how I discovered SHIV tracks planes' fuel

My proud Gato-class boat, USS Tullibee, had just sank Shokaku and Huryu in port at Rabaul after I was ordered to photograph Shokaku when this happened:

Seemingly every plane of the CAP went back to base and, when they couldn't land, went straight for me... and then crashed straight on New Ireland to the east.

Only the "sunken ship" icon the furthest from the coast (north of the small island between the two big ones) is a legitimate kill - a medium freighter of some sort I gunned down, I believe.

There are about 40 planes in there, and I'm sure I didn't see many crashes because I was out of range - I killed the two carriers with my last 8 torpedoes, and so I was heading back to Brisbane.

Just thought it was hilarious and that I'd share with you guys, if it hadn't already happened to you.

(for reference, using only RSRDC).
