SH4 and Lost Compass Rose

Hey guys,

Wondering if someone could help. I installed RFB 1.5 and decided to go back to the stock game, used the JGSME to uninstall RFB, but couldn't get the compass rose back on the attack map for the stock 1.5 version of SH4. I also seemd to have lost the General Quarters alarm (which I kind of like). So I totally reinstalled the game, deleted all other old files I could find, and still there was no compass rose, still no alarm sound effect. Anyone have any idea of what's going on? Everything else seems normal on the stock game.

Also wondering what filepath you guys generally use on the JGSME installer? I would think C:\SilentHunter4\MODS\ is typical???
