Mr. Reid and Ms. Pelosi would love to come up with a way to bash heads in private and skip any public discussion that further reveals just how incoherent and unworkable both the bills are.
They have done this already. Everything that has passed thus far has been handled in the same fashion.

Just one of many promises that for some reason has gone to the wayside. Change man, change.

I guarantee you... there will be a Republican majority in Congress after the next election.

a senator CANNOT go against 75-80% (depending on the poll you look at) of the people and do whatever the hell they want and keep their job.

I think the majority of people in this country have had it with Pelosi, I think they are nearing absolute disgust with all of these "entitlement programs" and the end is very near for these fools.

Personally i have had it.

and if they sign this thing into law i will NOT be buying insurance.

MY GOVERNMENT CANNOT AND WILL NOT MANDATE TO ME THAT I AM REQUIRED TO PURCHASE A SPECIFIC GOOD OR SERVICE

it is unconstitutional in every way shape and form and i vehemently REFUSE to take part in it.

Y' all will enjoy our new sub-par, DMV healthcare. Enjoy waiting in line. What somebody needs to do, is to add a rider, saying that no congress member shall have a private doctor, makr them subject to the same system.

Hold it. You never asked for the definition of transparency. Transparency means that Reid and Pelosi know what is going on. Where did you come into that equation?

For once RR you are dead wrong. These two clowns are completely clueless as to what is going on. These two are concerned with their own part in history and creating a legacy for Obama. Nothing more.

No I think they kow exactly what they are doing and its not about health care.

It appears they have passed that small hurdle.

LOL then again maybe not. It seems Reid voted no by accident

Quote:
Clearly exhausted, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid mistakenly voted no before changing his vote to yes, which got a laugh in the chamber, especially from Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell.

I agree but unfortunately the only people whose opinions really count in the matter is those from California's 8th Congressional district.

We should have the pleasure of seeing her stripped of her post as House Majority Leader come the next election though...
