Default Req.. Pick up off boats

I'm a poor modder that at best tweaks others. I would love to see more intense special missions. I understand the zone triggers, spacing needed, ect. I don't think it's possible but maybe someone has an idea. Be nice if we could pick up people off islands as a mission. I don't think you can get the lifeboat to come to a sub, but thought about using a fishing boat. Say you get to the zone to pick up escaped POW's and a fishing boat spawns with the people in it. Seems you could chose numerous players that would spawn in the boat. If the boat doesn't come to you, you drive to it. Seems you could save them and bring them aboard the same way you save pilots.

I think it would be fun to have intense missions in campaign mode. You're forced to go into shallow harbors for miles, do your pick up. When the boat spawns, planes are vectored in that would attack either boat forcing you to stay surfaced, DD killer groups would spawn searching for you.

Many people make some intense single missions, it seems you could layer these in campaign mode, ect and put your sub in some serious danger.
If you save POWs or civilians and get them killed, suffer some serious point loss, maybe given the order not to attack unless reasonable and have a TF spawn nearby.

Anyway, I'm just trying to figure out how to do a pick up instead of a drop off. Think it's possible to use fishing boats or junks as they would work better and somehow use the pilot save icon to pick them out of the boat and save them. Haven't figured if you could reverse how the soldiers or spies spawn on the boat, then into the raft, if that process could be reversed...

Maybe crazy, but just an idea....i think it's possible. If any skilled modder has tried this and no that it's not, please let me know or any idea's.

it involves a lot of work but it can be done, the mission designers forum has links to info for things like this
