![]() ![]() i just thought i upload some old but too cool to forget skins i found recently. they are taken from a german mod called "Tillabous Coral Sea Flotilla" back from 2007. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=1440 (skins only) original thread can be found here http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=111842 i've checked compatibility with 1.5 and uploaded the whole package. it contains additional nice background pics and music. http://www.filefront.com/15021171/Ti...ea_Flotilla.7z (skins+pics) Last edited by vickers03; 11-29-09 at 08:50 AM. |

Cool! One question, though: Did they really use those in WWII or are those fictional?

That's fictional. No American submarine fought with any kind of dazzle camo during the war. However, my S-boat routinely sports a really nice blue dazzle paint camo for fun and I run kill flags and the shark mouth on my USS Kraken Balao.
It adds a sense of ownership to your boat and the stupid computer AI can't see it, so I can't see any reason not to use any graphical device to increase your sense of identification with your boat. Anyway, it adds to the fun. ![]()
