Default AA wierdness

Hey fellas, after being hidden in the dark nasty places of my HDD for quite a while, i found SH IV hiding in a corner. And i realised i missed the game a bit. Went here instantly and downloaded the environment mod and loaded it (no other mods). Fire the game up, get sunk on the first patrol because i was trying to sneak up on a convoy at 7knots submerged. On the second run i did notice that my game didnt seem to use AA/AF. Because reinstalling vid drivers dont seem to save the specific game setups. Now, despite my best attempts i cannot get the game to use AA or AF. Doesnt matter if i set "global" use of AA/AF in the nvidia control thingie. My first thought would be a reinstall, however i seem to have lost the game somewhere in the middle of moving or something. So, would this be a problem related to drivers or the game itself?

Current setup is:
Vista 32
Geforce GTX295 using latest WHQL drivers.

Appreciate any help since it feels silly to play the game without AA/AF.

/Alex
