SH4 Crash Bluescreen

Hi can someone help me because SH4 keeps on crashing in-game with both the U.S and U-Boat campaign here is the problem details can some give me any advice thanks

I did it this way because I could not load mods vie JSGME if I installed the game in the x86 files. Now, if this fails you post your error report here:

with blue screen, do you mean Blue Screen Of Death? (a blue screen with some white text, after that you have to restart your PC)

If so, there's probably something wrong with your PC
In my case, the only time I've had BSOD's was when my cooling failed. Might be the same in your case, SH4 loads, extensively uses your GPU/CPU so your PC gets hot up to a point where it can do nothing but shut down to prevent damage.

I had random reboots until I disabled the 3D sound in the main.cfg. Maybe my solution helps you, too:

Make a backup of the main.cfg in your savegame folder (just in case), then open Main.cfg in a text-editor. Look for the sound entry and change "Max3DSounds=0". Save the file.

No guarantees, though.

Tried removing3d sound in main.cfg instead it just froze after some gameplay

As stated above make sure there are no hardware problems and that your PSU is pumping out the correct voltages. Only way to find out is with a voltage tester. I find that 9 out of 10 PC problems are PSU related. The rest bad hard drives and viruses.
