Want to see externally underwater at night..

I'd occasionally like to take an external look at my sub underwater at night but can't because it's, understandably, too dark. Has anyone come up with a stand-alone mod that's lightened things up a bit so I can make out the sub down there? I'm aware it doesn't reflect reality, but it's an immersion thing for me..
