Hey there.
i came across editing some things on the crew models. but i only get wired results, with stretched lines around the models...like this guy in sh4: ![]() whats the problem? ![]()

Hi Urfisch,
IIRC the problem is that the crew model is not just a 3D model, but also has an animation linked to it (You can find them in SilentHunterIII/data/Animations). Otherwise it wouldn't look like a human in his movements. Those animations can be edited if I understood correctly what Racerboy told me, but I have no idea which tools are need for that. Racerboy did some experiemnts for me trying to give them the long rain coats for normal bridge crew, without the rain hat. That way I could add a new texture and have realistic long grey leather coats. But despite the bridge crew getting those coats, the interior guys became messed up because there is no animation of a guy with raincoat sitting in the dive planes. The resulting mess looked similar to your picture, hence I think the reason is the same, you must import not just the crew but also the animations. But I LOVE to see finally someone porting over the SH4 crew models instead of the damned inmersion-killing cyborgs we currently have ![]()

This would be a great mod, real looking seamen instead of the marsmen.
