I am ingame right now, just leaving Lorent... I watch in realtime with binoculars as several subs go by, some being docked and some returning from patrol (I like watching to see the emergence of new subs as the war progresses). The crews are posted on the guns an no one is on watch and the boats float by without flinching (gotta love that Third Reich discipline, eh?), which brings me to my question. How hard would it be to script a few guys on watch, waving there hands at the passing "friendlies" and maybe flashing signals to the players passing uboat in morse code. I think it would add just a bit more depth to SH3 if there were actual responses from the boats as they pass so it would look a bit more like a Das Boot moment.
