warship speeds
recently transfered to the med in '43 to stresstest my submerged interception method. Got a warship contact while off the coast of corsica. moved in and found an italian sub going 9 knots 305°T. Must say, confused me a little, I thought "medium" reported speed for warships is 12-15 kts and subs are included. Can anyone clarify?
