u-boat barely effected by waves?

Hi after almost finishing the fleet boat campaing i decided to start the german campaign because of sh-5. But i noticed the u-boats are barely affected by the waves no-matter how rought the weather is. The us boats do but the u-boats just seem to sail straight through the waves.

Get Operation Monsoon, this is modded in. There may be a standalone mod as well.

also check your sim.cfg for this

[Mech]
Waves amplitude=0.55
Waves attenuation=0.05

these are near-GWX standards and helps alot.
(other ships are affected too by this, but so
they are in GWX).
