dude i think its just you...
Seriously though i dont think this is moddeled in game, theres only a single face texture per crewman (well a few shared between your crew anyway). For their beards to grow you would need at least 2 textures per face (ie clean shaven & fully bearded) and blend between them over the course of a patrol. As far as i know the engine does not support this. It would be awesome if it did though, you could even age your boat, imagine your sub becoming more rusted and weatherbeaten over a long patrol. That would be damn cool ![]() The longest patrol ive done was 94 days and my crew were just as babyfaced after 94 days at sea as when we left port. |

Funny that, I only notice the beards on returning from a patrol too and not when leaving. I thought they grew too! Apparently not. Probably just because I expect them to be there, only looking for them when sailing into home port.
