I was starting my misson. I followed my escort vessel out of Wilhelmshaven, he turned to port heading for the enterance to the channel that goes northwards towards the North sea.
I kept expecting him to turn again to port in order to go inbetween the mine fields. To my surprise he kept straight on. I followed him but at a safe distance. He was getting closes and closer to the bank on the East side. Next he runs aground. I turned about and proceded out to sea. That captain has an easy job excorting U-boats out of port but its no excuse for his whole crew falling asleep!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

That is a bit wierd, ships in ports do sometimes loose their waypoint info if you load a save while in harbour, but the fact that your escort made a turn first suggests he was still following his waypoints... i guess Bernard has finally been transferred to the surface fleet then

Maybe he went on to captain tankers after the war?

I think Bernard also commanded uboats during the first world war too, as demonstrated by this lovely bit of paralel parking...
