Recently, I have linked to a wonderfull (and lethally strong) Abalone program. Now it is time to give Backgammon a treatment. I have stopped following Backgammon software many years ago. the software played not good, or was not as intuitive to handle as one would desire, or simply drove me away by it'S looks (yes I know, but that's how it was). They have made tremendous progress since then, and under the GNU project, there is a wonderful Backgammon software that leaves nothign to be desired. You can fine-tune it's looks to every detail, both 2D and 3D, or pick any of the wonderful preset layouts. Many options are available, and playing levels. It is said to belong to those programs that can be set to play stronger than any human, but the beginner levels allow you to have your go at it, too. Handling is intuitive, and interface is really well-done. I love this one. I designed a board that looks almost similiar to my textile-and-leather board I use in real. Looks like a photography of it! ![]() If you play Backgammon, give this one a try. You won't be disappointed.

P.S. The database has run amok, and I needed ten minutes to connect to the site. Delete the other three posts.
