game keeps resetting realism
The game keeps changing my realism settings to hard. I've set a custom realism several times, loaded a game (career) and exited only to find the settings set back to hard.
![]() Are there settings in an ini file I can change or is there another solution? Thanks. -- ![]() |

Go to the gameplay folder in the data/cfg folder, and change the settings to whatever you want, for every level. Save the original file so you can restore it when you want.
Even better, make a JSGME mod with your new settings and then activate it as the last mod, so none of the other mods can change it back.

the game hates you that's why
![]() ![]() listen to irish he is correct you can edit all your crew to have no fatigue or give your sub 20 tubes in a type IIA if you want the game references to that .cfg before any other file unless one of your mods enabled in jsgme has replaced it which is probably the case so go into that mods data folder & edit/replace (or) delete it. |

Shegeek: For me if I try to set realism anywhere other than with the old radio on the shelf in my room at base, it just won't stick.

For single player the game options work at the load screen. The load screen settings don't work for campaign mode. As stated you must use the radio on the left in the office to set those. What's good is you can reset them each time you return from patrol should you desire.
