How does this make her a nutjob?

She's against war. (Who isn't?) She's expressing displeasure with government policies and decisions in peaceful protest. She can do this without fear of prosecution or persecution from her government. That's what this country is all about.

Can't say I blame her. Couple things to think about. America has been at war with someone or another since WWII. If you think the collapse of our auto industry was going to destroy our economy and affect the rest of the world, think of what the collapse of our defense industry would do. Wouldn't be long before we were in the dark ages.

We have to keep our defense industry employed. Now we've even gone as far as becoming the aggressor and invading sovereign countries to keep our war machine fed. The only logical target was a country with oil, because we've backed ourselves into a corner with our dependence on foreign oil.

Can't say it's our countries finest moment. If I had the time, I'd probably go stand next to her and express my displeasure with our policies and decisions.

It's her time, it's her dime, and if the press decides to pick her story up and spread the word for her, more power to her.
