Default Several Naval Warfare Game Questions

Hello, for a long while I have been wanting to delve into the great naval games I have. Unfortunately I have not had a lot of time to play them.

I was wondering if anyone could give me their thoughts as to the games I own and if you could recommend any to purchase:

I own:

688: This is currently my favorite sub sim. I really like all of the technology.

Silent Hunter 3: I really liked this game, however, 688 feels more complex and relevant (even though I'm a WW2 buff).

Silent Hunter 4: I have not played this one yet.

Sub Command: I have not played this yet.

Fleet Command: I have not played this one yet.

Shells of Fury: Another game I have not played.

Dangerous Waters: I was scared by the manual, but after getting a good feel for 688, I feel like I might be ready eventually to play this one. Looks outstanding.

Harpoon 3 Advanced Naval Warfare: I read most of the manual, but have not played the game yet.

Harpoon Commanders Edition: I have yet to play this game.

Carriers at War: This is more of a strategy game, but if anyone has any thoughts, please share them.

I am also wondering if there is a good sequence to playing the games (i.e. simple (688) to moderately complex (Sub Command) to complicated (Dangerous Waters)).

Frankly, I don't know if I will ever get into the Harpoon series. I like sims more than strategy games...I guess I like the nitty gritty details of commanding a single ship versus commanding an entire fleet?

So if anyone has any thoughts on Harpoon (i.e. is it fun?) then that would much appreciated.

Also, I got a lot of hours out of SH3 but don't know if the improvements made to SH4 are worth pulling me away from SH3...Is SH4 that much better than SH3?

As mentioned, if there are any good naval combat games out there (any time period), then please refer those as I am interested in naval warfare.

(For example, I remember a game called Task Force 1942 that seemed to focus more on surface combat in WW2).

That's all. Thanks everyone.
