Why don't I always get credit for ships I've clearly sunk?

There are a whole bunch of different reasons for this bug.. all of which I can remember are stock SH3 bugs. One cause is the weather, it can steal your credit. Another is an odd bug on your first patrol you cant upgrade or you get 0 credit for ships sunk. And a bunch of others still... but in the end I believe...
GWX3 is working as intended. ![]()

...and let's not forget the ghost ships! You know the ones I mean, the re-spawn of the last ship you sank that re-appears a short time later. You daren't ignore it in case it's a genuine encounter; but after the stalking, trap laying and execution, all you get is the crew's cheers - but no tonnage, renown or little red sunken ship icon. Oh, and you're a torp or two down.

Chalk it up to Bdu not giving you credit for your sinking and move on.
