Default SHII crashes at access to map AFTER a save

Hey fellow subbers,
I am having a bit of a problem with SHII and am wondering if anyone else has had this or currently has this problem.

When I am running a campaign, and I stop somewhere in the middle of the mission, I save the campaign using Silent Tool 102. At some later time, I start the game and continue the mission. All loads just fine and I can access any area of the sub, from the bridge to the torpedo room, but when I try to access the map (F3), the game crashes.

I am running a Toshiba laptop with Vista (yuck) business, 2 gig of ram, 2+ GHz processor, with an Intel 965 express video chipset.

If you need more info, let me know. I can't think of anything more you may need.

Thanks guys for your help, Hangman

I've had this before myself, if you have placed any mapnotes on the map and save then it will crash.

If you wish to use mapnotes then before you save you have to delete them first.
