There's something fishy going on. My theory is that he's a Republican politician, ergo he's trying to cover up a gay sex scandal.

He was out getting some. Come on, hiking? It was the worst weather for the month and his phone shows he was in Atlanta GA.

Well I only hope its a sex scandle after all to quote Bill Clinton thats his own buisness.

However ... Argentina? My gut instinct tells me the drug trade is somehow involved.

Haha, he admitted to an affair. I knew he was off getting his ashes hauled.

That is quite a leap. Is Argentina a large drug supplier? If so I haven't heard it as such. Just because the country lies in South America doesn't mean it is tropic and condusive to drug production. Argentina's climate is temperate much like the US and is good for growing pot, which grows about anywhere, but not much else.

Well he has already come out and admitted the affair. At least he had the scones to do that and not try to deny.

Something still tells me there is more to this story though.

That is what she said, and went about investigating....without any objection it would seem.

Being one state up from SC, I have watched Mark Sanford for a long time. His principled conservative stances have always been impressive. I remember the pig incident quite clearly, and fondly.

However, the man erred - and while I appreciate his candor, I suspect there is more to it which caused him to admit this. His personal choices are between him and his family (since he hasn't been lying to congress and the american people over it) - but I do find his actions in being AWOL to be inexcusable and irresponsible. Thus,he needs to resign the governorship of the state.

I am very saddened by this, because his past has indicated he was the type of leader the "republican" party needed to ever get back on track. As an independant, my views are "conservative" and more often than not I agreed with his decisions. Tis a pity. He should step down, and deal with his family before all else.

It's not so hard to understand, just the nature of man. We're all suckers for a good lay. Even the King of England once gave up his throne for a woman.
