Default Any mods for Japanese/merchant ship crews?

Noticed that a number of the smaller Japanese destroyers have an 'open' bridge. Which, with crew manning the AA guns and other posts on the wings of the bridge, look very, very strange being completely empty. Like a car moving without a driver! Has there been any effort put into adding some extra bodies here and there on the ships to make them somewhat more believably crewed?

(I mean, I really like the improvement of having animated crew walking around on deck in the first place - VERY WELCOME! But some extra people to fill out the watch stations visible from the outside would also be nice.)

Default It's probably doable...

...as the modders have managed to place figures on the sub deck to simulate the actual number of guys involved in firing the deck gun (part of the TMO mod). I'm guessing it would be the same technique but I don't have any modding experience so I'm not sure if there are limitations in the game that might prevent it.

Along the same lines I'd like the enemy pilots to look more japanese than italian when they bail out, LOL.

I remember once I made a helm for open bridge ships, attach a 3d model of a sailor to it and there ya go.

Sorry I deleted it, but you can make it by taking the helm from SH3+GWX and making the 3D model into a node for the ship.

That reminds me, if anybody wants to finish my Mogami pre conversion heavy cruiser, feel free. It is 90% done, just needs some work on the ambient occlusion. Keltos01 might still have the files if you are interested.

Just need to throw P nodes where ever you want crew, then populate them in the eqp file. Trivial with S3D, just a bunch of ships to do is all.

Be nice to get rid of all the men in suits and red and green ties on the warships.....just so funny. Obvious they decided not to worry about the game figures that aren't in the sub.

The civies on warships is simply an eqp fix. A text file. Even easier than adding crew. Just go through them and swap them for sailors, cut and paste.
