Default My father said something that made me laugh a bit...

My father and I always have discussions on matters of politics, warfare, "the good old days" and ECT. The discussions last night lead to a discussion about the feasibility of someone placing restrictions on or eliminating the usability of the 2nd Amendment.
The information would bore you guys but the crux of it came down to me saying "Yeah Dad, but then they'll just take the guns from you". Dad stroked his beard and said "Well, they're gunna need brooms to sweep up the brass, and they better wear gloves, because those barrels are gunna be toasty".

Never need the guns here in Australia. You can still have democracy without guns, it just takes a different mind set

Yeah we do but they're controlled. Mostly used for hunting/controlling feral animals/target shooting though.
