Default Water Issue and nav map question

About the water, I have serious problem, when i update to 1.5 the water get horrible when moving the camera and when I`m on the bridge, look aside and the water looks so so, in 1,4 this problem was vary minor but here all the water vibrating under water and above, this problem disappear only if the camera not moving or is very hi. is there any way to fix this problem, my system core 6420, 2,13gh 8800gts, 2gis of ram
When i go back to 1.4 i saw that the all names in the nav map are in one color, but in sh3, and 1.5 enemies are in red and other colors, i install some mods and wonder is the defolt collor in 1.4

I have a hard time understanding your problems, I'm afraid.

For me (1.5 with or without mods) the japanese harbours and cities are displayed in red. At which state of which campaign did you take that screenshot ?

You should also post a screenshot of your water issue to show us what problem you've got there.

The problem with the water is the animation, when I moving the camera, or when I`m on the bridge, water starting strangely to vibrating very fast and ruin the good water animation, when not moving the camera, water animation is normal but soon I rotate the camera or moving it forward close to water animation begin to vibrate very fast. I don`t know if this is a 8800gts issue, I try different drivers, but noting help. In 1.4 this issue is still present but is very minor. I install environment mod and other but the problem exist even whit them. After searching in forums and google i met other people whit this problem but no one know how to fix it, ( I hope in 1.6) About the nav map. in 1.5 J. harbors and cities are red but when i instal 1.4 every harbor is blue no mater J, or US, i dont remeber is this normal for 1.4 i hope you understand my problems thanks again

In 1.4 all ports are in blue. The red is a 1.5 fix.
I some times get the vibrating water as well, it isn't the water so much as the wake of my sub and I don't get all the time?
Check your frame rates when panning the camera, if they fall off big time you may have a video card problem???????
Several people have complained about this but I have never seen a real solution.

60 fps all the time, the game run great on max settings, i try on low and the result was the same, the only time water is normal is on hi sea or storm, in calm every time vibrating.

Hi Folks,

Im new to this forum. I've got the same problem with jitterring or rippling water. If I move with the freecam or standing on bridge the waves moving like to press "fast forward" or time compression is activated. Don't know if that is a feature or maybe a bug. Time compression is 1. Installed mods like "real environment" but problem persist.
Got gold edition from sh4. Tried to make a demo from that effect:

Would you believe, don't move the freecam and stay off the bridge?

No, huh? I'll go away now...

It usually happens at low sea states. You can mod it a bit ... but doing so only changes at what sea state you'll see the effect. So, kind'a like what RR said, try to stay off the bridge except in very windy conditions (the effect seems to go away in higher seas). Or, do like I do ... sit in the AA gunner's seat and watch your props churn up the ocean. No jiggly water back there.
