All of them, unless there's a muti periscope wake pack.

Three, absolutely.
Incidentally, I hope you make longer wakes mod (both from vessels and torpedoes) too. ![]()

I would say n°3 but is there a possibility to see it more dense ?
I hate the spray look...btw looks really better than vanilla ![]()

Spray / Foam
No 3 seems realistic but foam is to large should form behind and be flat then wake up and then down and up and disappear....
All depends on boat's velocity, wave actions.. Perhaps cycle the foam randomly with higher appearance at greater velocity? Don't know if you can tie it to that. Periscopes wakes are very narrow and fine with the upper element of the attack scope, further down the shaft the scopes circumference increases and if the scope sticks out enough that thicker element portends a thicker wake and more foam. The observation scopes optics where larger so that overall these scopes would show more of a wake and foam. Same for the extension impact. Many subs carried a HF antennae aft of the periscopes shears so that often when at shallow depth the antennae broke the surface along with the scope at about 1/3 of extension. Running true periscope depth kept the HF whip down. Also the lifelines about the sides were in fact antennae elements for a long wire. This mod is really gonna impove realism if you can tie in the various systems, ie observation scope full extension, observation scope shallow depth with larger element protruding, attack full extension periscope depth, attack scope shallow depth with larger element extension above water line... Dual scopes dragging, rooster tail at 9 knots. HF Whip protrusion.. Radar mast head protrusion and turbulent wakes... Thank you for the mod as it is. ![]() |
