Default Egg Zeppelin /easter project/

With easter approaching we have a competition on sister forum- models made using chicken egg.
This is what i have come up with:

Now it will get the silver coat, and red rudders with similar markings to the real zeppelin.
Hope you like it.

LOL

That is an awesome model! But how do you make sure the egg doesn't stink up?

Wow, where do you get all these photo etched parts? Do you custom make them yourself?

Thanks guys!

I need to seal it now, and paint the markings. Some weathering using pigments, and washes to complete the job.

Thanks Firewall, Task Force.

I need to paint the markings on both sides- EZ-1 in black, but i was to lazy today, so instead i checked the layout of the rest of the stuff that makes the little dio.
Grass mat from Woodlan Scenics, flowers from Noch Gaugemaster, and 1/220 scale figures of scheppard, dog, and flock from Praiser.

Hope you like it!

I have masked the blimp, and painted the markings EZ-1 on the sides, unfortunately the tape came off with the bit of paint. Nothing surprising.

I managedd to mask it again, and respray the damaged areas, but still need to smooth it out, as the new paint is shining too much.
The wash, and pigments should do the trick.
Heres few mock up shots just for fun:

Hope you like.
