Sorry for the newbie question but can I manually direct the spread of each Torp shot and if so what screen do I use. Also on the nav map I am having a hard time figuring which direction my sub is going the green trail is that my wake or direction? Thanks
Just got up and going here for the first time in over 3 years and it has a steep learning curve but I am happy with that |

Green trail??
You go in the direction of the line you drew. As for torp spread, go to the TDC, the button below nav map. You will see a map. There will be a bunch of dials at the bottom of the screen, ignore them for now. On the right side of the screen, there are four large dials. I uh... forgot what the upper left is for, but forget it for now. ![]() Upper right selects depth of your torpedo, simply click and drag. The tiny dial in between them is for setting I for impact fuse or M for magnetic fuse. The lower left dial is for selecting torpdoes The lower right is for spread. In between is a small dial, set it to S for salvo. Click and drag the lower right dial.

on the TDC screen (F6 i think) and look for a dial labeled something like "spread angle" keep in mind that if you fire a spread of 2 torpedoes with a 2º angle... neither of those 2 will actually hit where your crosshair is aiming at (provided that you are using auto-targeting or your manual targeting is dead accurate). what i'm trying to say is... that the trail a single torpedo will follow is used at the middle point to open the "spread". a 4º spread with 2 torpedoes will end with 1 torpedo being fired 2º to the left of the intended trail, and the second torp being fired 2º to the right of the intended trail. Am I makeing sense? if not... ask again ![]() Quote:
